This year, the great feast of Transfiguration falls on a Thursday! Immediately after Divine Liturgy on August 6th, we will enjoy a salmon BBQ and pot luck picnic at our fellowship hall. That will be followed again this year by a hike up Red Hill trail.

We will serve the Festal Vigil of Dormition on Friday, Aug. 14 and will be going to Holy Assumption Monastery in Calistoga on Saturday, for the Dormition Feast Day. Divine Liturgy will be at 9:00 am.

Square dance on August 21. 6:30 — 10 PM. Learn the basic steps from the caller at 7pm sharp.

Our catechism class at St Nicholas will begin again on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:00 by zoom with an orientation class. The book for the class is “The Orthodox Way” by Met. Kallistos Ware. Please read more on this link to signup for the class.

Pledge Forms were distributed some time ago. If you haven’t filled yours out yet, please do so as soon as possible.

We will be restarting our bi-weekly meetings for Bible study on Sunday May 11th after Pascha. It’s a great opportunity to renew all aspects of our spiritual life, including reading and pondering the Book of Life, if you feel inspired to do so.
